A YOUNG boy has suffered terrible injuries while fleeing a bully who threatened to kill him and his school did nothing to prevent it.
Eight-year-old Blair Retallick is in intensive care after fleeing a tormentor on a school bus and running into the path of a four-wheel drive outside a Townsville school on Monday.
This is just horrible. Its all over the news, and is starting to make people really think about bullying.
Patricia Retallick said her son was the target of a long-running campaign by school bullies and had been kicked, spat on, bitten, punched and verbally abused. Blair remains in the Townsville Hospital with injuries including a fractured skull, a bruise to his brain, and a lacerated liver.

Shizz. It all goes to blame the parents. They are the reason for their children's lack of morality.
My father always when he took me a ride, always warned me of many things. Basically, he was lecturing me.
I was a bully, but in a playful way and not punch, kick, and spite or to say very rude way.

Children with moral are gone these days... The fact that the bully didn't stop when he saw the car coming makes me angry.

I hope this bring to life that bullying is unnaceptable. Teachers, administration, and SRO's should really push the consequesnces of peer pressure/bullying to a more serious level. Bullying is a crime people.

What the fuck is wrong with society? We are all human and why would we treat one another like an alien? This is indeed morally wrong. I can't believe that the school system knew about this and did nothing.

The part that is confusing me is why did the school and bus company not do anything? I can be more lenient for the bus company because constantly dealing with bullying would make it a lot longer to get the kids home and such but depending on the policies, the bus driver has the option to boot the kid off the bus and report it to the school. Ignoring this, the fact that the school did nothing despite evidence from other students, complaints from parents and probably evidence by teachers is something I don't understand. Even if the school were plagued with bullies, the school should do its best to keep children safe and twirling their thumbs while leaning back in a chair is not that.
If I were the parents, I'd be so willing to sue the pants of the parents of the bully as well as possibly suing the school or teachers.
The good news of this though is that the school's name and reputation is smeared because of what is documented to have happened. Unfortunately, it came at a heavy cost.
