Should I open up to him?

So last year this guy told me he loved me I believed him and truely loved him, But he just used me. So i meet this other guy he makes me seriously happy even when im depressed just getting a text from him makes me smile. But the thing is hes 23 and lives in flordia. I wanna believe him and open up to him but from what happened with Nick (the other guy) im just so scared of being hurt. I started to push him away like I do with most guys,but I relized what I was doing and apologized to him. It's just should I completely open up to him and take that chance...or not?

I don't know how old you are, but having a relationship with someone that old might be hard for you.

If you truly like him, open up to him, but being that he is older, and is probably in a different location than you, it might be hard.

Okay, so according to what i have read, im guessing you dont live in Florida, correct me if im wrong. You shouldnt base your thoughts of this new guy by what has happened in your past. The thing is that you are about 16 and he's 23. You guys dont live in the same state so the whole long distance thing might not go as planned. What i would do is try finding someone that lives around you so you guys will see each other on a daily basis, or atleast a couple times a week. And about the new guy from florida, you guys should be friends or something since he makes you happy when your depressed.
