Can I trust him?

-Back story for understanding-

Now, There's this guy at my school (person A) and he likes me, and i like him. He was my first kiss, my first boyfriend... My first love! So we started dating, and broke up a month later... He felt that he could have more fun with his friends than me! So, we stopped seeing each other... For a good 2 weeks... Then, he asks if he wants to mess around, which i agreed to. We began messing around after school. A couple months later, -last month- I found out that he had his sights on another guy... I didn't care, but deep down, I did! I also found out, that he had told a friend about US, and that girl told EVERYBODY she knew. Now everyone knows im gay, about me and A, and... I just don't know if i can trust A with anything anymore!

I would ignore them and say that they are just rumors. They don't have actual proof that the two of you were together.

I would talk to this other girl that wasn't right for her to do that.

About the person you were in the relationship with, I would talk to them as well. It's your decision if you want to stay with this person or end it. But I would talk to them.

I can understand how you would have trouble trusting him. But you're gonna have to talk to him and explain to him how you feel.

Yes she might have saw you guys kiss, but that's just one person's word, so technically that isn't proof.

Well, you always CAN trust theoretically anyone. Often we can choose to attempt to trust people in spite of them having a horrible track record of hurting us. Other times we choose not to trust people who haven't done anything wrong.

But then again, regardless of choice, trust is very much emotional so we often don't feel what we think we should.

So, you have a logical decision to make based upon what they've demonstrated of their trustworthiness. Then, see if you feel the way you think you should. If you do then keep at it. If you don't, then do your best to educate your emotions about the consequence of having done this before.

If you did really like Person A, then you shouldnt care if other people know. And with the whole other guy thing, if you guys are over, then he can look at any guy he wants. Im sorry if this sounds mean, but this is just how it is.
