Oh, crush, hmm.

For some strange reason, I was immensely fascinated with the story of the Titanic in grade one (perhaps after seeing the movie played on TV once?), and there was a boy who sat across from me at school that knew about it. I don't remember how it started, but whenever there was a lull in the class, which at that age there often was, the two of us would start singing "My Heart Will Go On" together. It was really cute.

I only concluded that it was a crush, because I noticed that whenever he conversed with the other girl sitting beside him, I'd get jealous and try to tell on him to the teacher, saying that those two were disturbing my concentration.

What great times those were.

Not kidding, never had a crush on anyone that whole time until this year, I started to like her about 7 months ago, and I started talking to her about 3 months ago and asked her out 2 months ago. During the 2 months since she mostly just ignored me but I kept trying until finally this week I realized who she really was (more of a stuck-up "popular girl," total opposite of my first impression) and that she wouldn't be right for me anyway.

But there is someone else who's been there the whole time and I just never realized it until yesterday...
