So today at the store I was buying some biscuits. There was the regular kind, of course, and then right beside that on the shelf was a "No sugar added" variety.
Curious, I picked up a box. On the nutrition information panel, it said "Sugar Alcohol" instead of just plain old sugar.
I wrinked my nose, put the box back in it's place, and grabbed the regular kind.
Sugar might not be that good for you, but heck, I don't think any of these crazy sugar substitutes are very good for you either. I really don't like the sound of "Sugar Alcohol" at all, that does not sound very pleasant to me.
