I don't really understand your question. Could you maybe explain the situation a little better?

Semen has many different variations in the way of looks. You could ejaculate some that is thicker, and with a whiter color, or some that's runnier, with a more clear tint to it. It depents on your level of activity when it comes to masturbation; if you've waited a few days to masturbate, chances are, your semen is going to be thicker. If you're going twice or more in one day, yes, it's going to lose its consistency.

No offense at all, but I can't see what being hydrated has to do with sperm.

Semen clots almost immediately after ejaculation, forming a sticky, jelly-like liquid. It will liquefy again in 5 to 40 minutes. It is quite normal for semen to form jelly-like globules and this does not indicate any health or fertility problem. Failure of clotting and subsequent liquefaction can cause fertility problems.
