Because I've realised one reason why i cant seem to do it, is because of religion, im not that religious, I don't go to church, but i do believe, but I accept im naive, and I don't actually know if it would be sinned upon?

i think in most Christian religions it is a sin to beat off at all. i am a Mormon and i know it is wrong to do it(not a polygamist mormon for you ignorant people). i masturbate almost twice everyday, but it is a sin to do it anyways. it is just addicting.

First, I'm Atheist (I don't believe in a god that gives other kids cancer and hates on people he "created" such as gays or Jews or whatever), so if you don't want my opinion then stop now.
First how would it be a sin? I mean I can understand why killing and raping etc.. is a sin, buut how can masturbation be classed as a sin? And also, if masturbation is a sin then why would God allow such young people to be able to do it, often people who would have no idea it's a sin.
In my opinion thats the problem with religion, the laws were made by a couple of men a couple hundered/thousand years ago as a form to control the popultion (this is why religion was invented, to control people which it is still doing to this day.) and thus out of date for our modern times.

Ok , is that information coming from the bible??? I am an ex catholic that still goes to a catholic school. Cos in my last year I can't be bothered leaving... My teacher keeps telling me, and this is a dude that once was in training to be a priest, my R.E. Teacher said that the bible is NEVER meant to be read literally, and also, the bible was written 1880 years ago approx. It was meant for wat the belief of the people were at the time. And guess what! very hard question to answer. I went through the same thing with jerking off. I just realized that because i was ok with it and didn't have guilt i would just continue to do it. look within yourself for the answer
