I know this is gonna sound like I'm an idiot :whoops: but, what do you use lube for when masturbating?

I think I know but wanna double check.

Thanks!

Lube is probably most commonly used in the USA because so many guys are cut. Its not that its necessary to use lube just because you're cut but it seems to be much more common for cut guys. (I'm uncut but use lube a lot of the time because it feels better for me.)

It reduces the friction between your hand and your penis, this makes it less likely that you will get sore, and also changes the sensation of it.

For uncut guys, the foreskin protects the glans from too much rubbing, I think for uncut guys lube is probably more necessary to compensate for the lack of that protection.

So something like soap would work or should I go and buy something else?

You need to be careful about soaps and shampoos because they can sting like hell. If they do sting it lasts for a while too, you cant just wash it away easily. So purpose lubes like KY Jel or Durex Play are better and feel much better too.

I would recommend (for household objects...) Vaseline or Johnsons Baby Oil.

Now if your old enough to go to a -cough, cough- adult store, then I would recommend a brand such as KY.

Not sure where you're from. In the UK you can pick up the ones I mentioned at any supermarket like Sainsbury or Tesco. In Tesco you can take it to a self-service checkout, its easy. There are no age restrictions on them.

I just use Olay hand lotion since it's a common house item and it's good for my skin :P

Sorry, I forgot, CVS, Walgreens, and supermarkets with pharmacy's do carry them around here, I'm just always shopping with the parents so....yea.

I like it some times. In not cut. Its just a diferent feel, I agree that more than likely cut guys need it more than uncut but its also alot of personal preferance. and availibility.
