This may seem stupid, but i'll explain the best i can.
Basically, i own a Playstation 3, and i buy everything for it, except the console itself. All the games i buy with my own money. Sometimes, my parents help pay towards, but its rare. Anyway, i just bought a game about 3 weeks ago, which is right ontop of another i really like. However, my parents refuse to let me buy the second, even though it's my own money.
The first cost £40, and PS3 games always do, and the second is £40 too.
To try and save my money, i would buy the second game using this:
£15 Voucher - A present off a friend.
£15 of my own money.
£10 - I found a £10 note, so i will be using that.
So, how do i convince my parents, even though i am buying it, not them, at all?
- Also, don't go complaining i'm being selfish etc, or i will report you to a Mod.
Thanks.

No, you are not selfish. Try harder with your parents and see who else can help you too.

I may also sound stupid but usually follow this process when I am forbidden to get something:
I usually nag them about that object from morning to night, sometimes waking them up even during their sleeping hours. Then there usually comes a time when they get fed up of the nagging and let you do whatever you want:cool:

well.. you ARE being selfish, try to see it from their perspective...
You just spent £40, which, at least to me, is a lot of money, on a game... and now you want to spend another £40 on another game after you just bought the previous one... did you already played, enjoyed and pretty much finished the one before? I doubt it...
Just enjoy the game(s) you have and actually finish them, then they won't probably stop you from getting a new one, and the one you currently want will have probably gone down in price...

As i warned in my original post, i will report you. I don't care what you think, i was asking a question.
And, yes i completed it 100%. The game was actually really short.
Anyway...
My mom actually realised how much i had been saving for these two games, so without any arguements, she was happy to let me, and i'll go and get it this weekend.
Thanks for all the help

But I can't still believe how cheap the things are. I mean, look at the second post again.

Well, cheap is relative to how much money you make (or get from your parents in this case) and how worthy of a price tag is something...
And the price difference is probably just taxes... perhaps your country has higher taxes, or lacks direct support from the company (thus requiring them to outsource distribution to a local company, increasing costs)
