I think the vt job oppenings forrum should be deleted. It's pointless. It says the last post was on January 8th. That's a long time ago. It's obviously not needed.

It's not needed at the moment, however, it will be needed for future job openings. It's pointless to delete something and have to make the exact thing again in the future.
If anything, I suppose we could close that entire forum and make it inactive so it would not show up on the forum listings. Though that would only serve as a restriction to members, so I'm not sure why it would be a good thing -- other than just one less 'slot' in the HQ section . . . :?

I jsut dont see the point of it. If Josh, Francis, or you need someone to fill a position, can't you notify someone that you think would be responsible and ready for that position? It seams stupid to have it there when it's always empty.

Well with a job opening it's more of a selection. An Admin can see who is eager rather than having to throw PMs out there. In that little poll in my diary about positions, alot of people actually liked being a regular member rather than mod. I think that the forum should stay there for as long as it needs to, it's not hurting anything :)

I agree. It should stay. I'm sure the site has enough space. The Job Openings will not always be active , but when a job is open it will be.
