Well if you have pubes then the process is definitely underway so I would worry too much. It takes everyone differently and there's no real way of just looking up on some chart to see where you should be at any given age. Stay cool with it, 13 isnt late at all, there's really no reason to worry about it.

It's completely normal to be late. I can understand how you got scared over what your teacher said. It's alright. Puberty is just really beginning for you.

People start and advance through puberty at different ages, there's nothing to worry about.

Adam I would like to kick your health teacher in the nuts. What they meant and should have said its that 13 is an average age for it, which means that for some guys its sooner and for some its later and all of that is normal. If you had to wait another 2 or 3 years it would still be normal, a bit unusual but nothing way out. The chances are that the next year to 18 months will see some dramatic change for you. You can talk to me anytime if it would help, but you'd probably rather die. lol. No problem.

i didnt really start puberty till 13 with pubic hairs, 15-16 for armpit. The most i grew in a year was 5'7 to 5'10 from about 15 to 16

I am 13. Really haven't had a growth spurt yet, I have no arm put hairs.. and I have pubic hair. My penis hasn't grown yet.. And I was just wondering how long I should wait.

puberty is complicated, i didn't have pubic untill i was 13, armpit hair have'nt gotten yet,really dont freak out about puberty, its all diffirent for all of us.

how long you should wait? well, i guess if youre still the same 1t 17, then worry! But seriously, everyone matures at diff rates, etc......even the order that stuff grows (penis) and stuff grows in (armpits, pubes, etc) varies from person to person.....at 13, i think that you are very average. I was the same way, my growth spurt was 14.....
