Can't tell if a girl likes me?

OK so there is a girl at my school who I really like, and she is already my friend so we know each other pretty well. Last weekend I went skiing with her on a school trip and on the ski lift her friend brought up who she liked. I couldn't tell if she was trying to make me jealous or what. So lately I have been complimenting her a lot and invited her to come bowling with me ( I know that sounds kinda stupid but a lot of my friends were going so what the heck ) and she said she was really bad and didn't want to go.

its really hard to say if she likes you because i don't know her or her relationship towards you.. however i don't thnk she likes you by that... i'm sorry... she sounds like she was just telling you who she liked... and it sounds like perhaps it was an excuse not to go bowling with you.. hun there are other fish in the sea, and don't take my word for it whether or not she really likes yo because i'm just stating my opinion on the above.. perhaps asking a close mutual trusted friend might help. anyways good luck hope things work out for you.

She probably still thinks of you as a friend.

If you are that crazy about her, I would try to do more personal things, rather than friendly things with her. Going bowling is a great idea, but if you really like her, you should do activities that you guys can do alone. Just you two.

The reason I was thinking she doesn't just think of me as just a friend is she gives me looks like she likes me but that might just be me misinterpreting them.
