This is just a poem that I'm coming up with while i'm typing.

Have you ever heard that story,
Of the perfect little angel.
Who was broken while she thrived,
beaten when so fragile.

She was every ones best friend,
Helping them through their troubles.
Then she gave her heart to a boy,
and he left her as a pile of rubble.

She lost her glow and her wings fell off,
She taught herself how to walk alone.
Her smile fell to the floor
and her voice changed its tone.

Her halo clanged to the floor
and rolled into the shadows.
She walked heavily down the hallways,
for a reason nobody knows.

Her white robes turned to shreds
and her wrists started to bleed.
Once a heart is broken,
Pity is the last thing it needs.

You never knew
That she needed you.

You turn to see her sitting in the back,
with her head halfway down.
You never knew that she was hurting,
but you didn't like her frown.

You had fallen in love with her smile,
And you missed the light in her eyes.
She no longer wakes up early,
just to watch the sunrise.

You never knew
that she needed you.

Her tears drench her sleeves
leaving stains as reminders.
Out of all the other angels,
the only broken heart is hers.

You catch her in the hallway,
and she can't meet your gaze.
Her eyes never leave the floor,
like she's lost in a daze.

The next day, she isn't there.
You don't think too much about it.
Within a weeks time, she doesn't appear;
All you can think is 'shit!'

You run to her house,
and slam on the door.
There's a sign in the window;
"Nobody lives here anymore."

The following morning,
you turn on Channel three.
You see your angel plastered there;
"Suicide; Teenage misery"

You never knew
she needed you.

So i'll tell this story every day,
Of my angel, my one true love.
Now I lay awake each night,
Whispering to my angel above.

I couldn't see
she needed me.
