This is kind of a rant/ramble/release of stress. I don't blame you if you don't feel like reading all of it XD

A healthy human mind doesn't wake up every morning believing that everything in the next 24 hours will be a living hell. Almost everyone seems to hide behind something that clouds out true reality. People hide from problems, run from them. Out of their true minds, and spread the hypocrisy like a virus. They manipulate, corrupt, and destroy to have whatever they want. "Absolute power corrupts absolutely." If we don't do what others want, they will make your life a living hell. I've experienced this first hand many times, and watched others go through the same thing. Yet when/if we try to fight back, it's near impossible to win. Does it ever seem like people are just out to make others miserable? That's all they can achieve? My step-father has done just that. Made me and my mother miserable in his pool of lies and manipulation. I guess the rumor of step parents being asses is true...

You are right, it is human nature to manipulate others. Not all of it is a conscious process, nor can it be completely avoided. Nature designed the principle of survival of the fittest, and it's deeply ingrained within our subconscious.

However, that doesn't prevent one from pursuing an existence free from exploiting others for oneself. It may seem ridiculous to believe it possible, but it's still worth a try.

We may not be able to change the world, but the least we can do, is gain self-awareness and prevent ourselves from sliding into the same trap, the same vicious power struggle.

From what I've lived, everyone (save about 10 people) has been sick. They can find no other way to act or gain in themselves, so they use other people. And when things look bad, they hide. If you expect to hide from these kinds of people, then build a ship and leave Earth. There's no escape. The people are everywhere. No matter where you turn, there's at least one.
