yesterday was really bad. i was on my way to my bus stop and i decided to take an alleyway to get there. i was half way down and a cop rolled up behind me and pulled me over and and told me to come to her car she was out of it at that time. she then said she had probable cause to search me because she said there were robberies occurring in the area. At that moment I'm saying FUCK! why you ask? i had a pack of cigarettes and about 4 joints rolled i hope I'm not in violation there. then she said she had to put me in handcuffs for her own saftey. So she proceeded to search me and of course found the cigarettes and the joints were in the pack. By this time 2 additional officers showed up maybe its because i live in not such a good neighborhood.

So she checked my record i had never been arrested before so that was good, but then she found the joints so that freaked me out. but a long story short she said that since i have no previous record i was off the hook, but they said if they catch me doing something stupid ill get arrested. I was really shocked because you see those people on cops gettin arrested for more petty stuff than me. After that i haven't been right i feel real uneasy leaving my house because of them especially after they arrested my dad back in september it almost feels like paranoia i just want to move on, but i just keep seeing those cops in my head. i hope you don't think I'm crazy thanks for listening to me ramble

i don't think you are crazy at all. i suggest you call an organization like the ACLU. they can help you with this. they work against police brutality and illegal searches like you experienced. this is the number for your local aclu 786-363-2700. also tell your parents or therapist. they can help you decide what to do now...

I'm sorry that event happened to you. I can understand how upset and stressed out you feel.

The advice than I can give you is, stay out of trouble. If you do the right thing, make the right choices in life, then there is no reason for you to hate the police.
