I'm thinking about making a twiiter under my parents permission. The reason why is because I'm sneaking facebook, I'm sneaking AIM, and I'm sneaking virtualteen. If they found me on here then I'm dead. My question is when I do ask and all and if they say yes, when my friends will give me an @tweet mentioning facebook or AIM, would it be possible to delete them? I mean like I can set my things to private and all. But they can make an accunt find me and follow me and view everything. Can someone explain how it works and all and can I set my setting to I have to accept a follower. I just want to know how it works before I go and ask.

Like I know they can't find me on VT because I'm using a different email for this. I found this site for help and now I got my help and now I'm like a helper and just enjoying the site. I love VT :D.

And idt my parents would allow me a facebook or aim so that's why I'm sneaking it. And I don't want to sneak anything else. Yes I'm 17 and I'm old enough but my parents are strict.

So can someone explain to me how privacy works on Twitter and if I can delete @tweets directly to me. Thanks

You're 18 and you have to sneak facebook?

But yes, you can delete tweets.

You can set your account as private so only people who you accept to follow you can read your tweets. Also, there is something known as direct messaging which are basically tweets only you and the person you send them to/get it sent from can read.

Thanks. That's basically what I wanted to know.
