Obsessed?

Are there any games that you've played that you become obsessed with? It's sad really and I've been called names so many times because of it but not only do I tend to choose games like FF where you must put over 60 hours into it but I also tend to be obsessed with unlocking every secret viewing every cutscene starting a new game just to do a permanent decision over again.
My FFX game I have over 200 hours on it. I have the sphere grid mastered on tidus and I have nemesis unlocked in the monster arena(can't beat him yet though).
My FF Tactics game I have started a new game countless times until I have what I now believe is the perfect party customization.
I do this with dragon ball z. I do this with every game I like a lot.

Does anyone else have this problem or am I weird? Maybe this should be moved to the disorders section? Hmmm.... Idk. :confused:

Your not weird. I was addicted to guild wars for a long ass time. And now I don't play it alot anymore. You just have to manage your time a lot more. You have an addiction that can be easily beat. Have your self a time limit. Like get a coking timer set it too a time and when it rings find something else to do. It's that easy. That's not how I broke my habbit of guild wars. I got tired of doing the same thing over and over. Or get your parents to tell you constantly to stop plating when the bell rings if you don't stop.

Because I don't have enough time to want to put 200 hours into it! I have so many things to do and people tend to get mad at me...

I actually am not obsessed if you ask me. I play a lot, and competitively, but not obsessed.

I get hooked on games really easily tbh, if i get into them the obssession wont end until i complete it. At the moment its need for speed carbon

Fallout 3 i have about 170 hours clocked on it and i've only had it a year. and Golden Sun on GBA i practically worshipped that game... sadly i dont have a gameboy any more :(

I'm pretty obsessed with Final Fantasy VII
I've had it since I was little but could never beat it. I finally got pretty deep into the game ( 3rd disc ) but I made a major screw up and have to start ALL over. I love the game though. The story line is one of the bests. It's orgasmic, but It's gonna be a pain starting all over again. Took me 4 years ( playing on and off ) to get it disc 3 :P

i already have 30 hours on number 13
and i downloaded an PS1 emulator just so i can play FF7 on my laptop :)
you may call it sad but that is possibly the best final fantasy EVER! :)
also runescape was addictive, grown out of that though :) xx

FF7 ( AKA FFVII ) is the best one in the whole series, in my opinion
