View Full Version : Two pretty unrelated questions.

I have two questions.
1. How long does it take for your rep to regenerate? Like how long before you can give rep to someone you just gave rep too and how long before you can give rep if you've used up all your rep giving.
2. Also, I've noticed how many posts a person has is everywhere. I am fairly sure it has some affect somewhere. Other then the little picture below the avatar(if they have an avatar), are there any affects that having more posts get you?

I think it is 8 or 12 members.
In other words you must give rep to 8 or 12 other members before giving it to the same person again.
And there aren't any other perks to having a lot of posts other than getting a custom user title at 2,500

1. its like 10 people space til you can rep another person
and its like 6 reps per 24 hours
not sure on the exact numbers
ask antykins hell know
2. well at 25 you can pm
and then its pretty boring til 2500 where you can give yourself a free PhD at the age of 15 or whatever you want to have as your user title

If theres not much benefit why don't the Vt arcades do anything?

umm...because its more of a value of experience and time on the site.
If you had 25,000 posts but 20,000 of them were from the arcade or from excessive spamfests, then that would really screw up the hierarchy on the site.
Not sure how to describe it...

I dont know about any other changes, but at 500 posts you dont have to have your photo albums or comments moderated anymore

Its always been there, well since ive been here anyway. before i had 500 posts i had to have all my photos i uploaded moderated, and people had to moderate my picture comments before they were public.

It's newer-ish. Not as new as the 25 posts to PM people though
