Issues With Avatar

I am fairly certain this is related to the numerous amount of issues that we have been experiencing on this site, but when I try to upload a new avatar it says something along the lines of "error: not able to write temporary file"

please help :/

Is it possible that if you fix something (like to photo albums) then something else ends up failing.

Are you uploading the avatar from your computer or through an external link?

Try saving it to your computer first then uploading it locally.
