Okay so here's my problem:

Today I was tending to our wood stove to keep our house warm. And the last piece of wood I put on the fire were some chopsticks. (Bamboo) (Besides nobody was going to use them so I burned them) And I went upstairs and washed my hands to get the residue off my hands. And I smelled something different, so I looked at my right hand and I saw my right middle fingertip, right index finger, and a part of my thumb was blotched yellow.

This is only on my right hand. I don't smoke and never have. However sometimes when I tend the fire a big puff of smoke escapes and I accidently inhale it. Otherwise I'm not a smoker.

The yellow areas smell like the burning bamboo, could they have stained my skin? And will they go away? It doesn't wash off and I'm very worried. Any suggestions? :what:

Give it some time, it will probably go away.

Are there any blisters? Is there much pain?

I would just treat it with some ice.

But if its a bad burn. Usually yellow red burns aren't good, with blisters showing, I would go to the doctor.

No, It doesn't burn. There's just a yellow stain that won't go away. :/

Sounds like your skin had a reaction with something in the wood.
Ignore or try taking it off with Rubbing Alcohol, if you really start to get bothered by it, go to a doctor.

You could have Jaundice in your finger! I kid! Jaundice would affect your whole body! Yeah but it's probably not serious.
