So, I would like to start by saying a few things, I'm extremely careful with my dental hygiene, I brush my teeth three times a day, floss, and mouthwash after every brushing. I am not excessive, and I am not lacking. I smoked pot for a year, not daily, maybe two times a month and quit recently, however, even during that, I was very careful with my dental hygiene.
So, to the point, the top of my tongue is gray, while the bottom of my tongue is pink, the tip of my tongue is a normal color, and the further it goes back toward my throat, the more it deteriorates. It is a light gray, you almost can't tell it's discolored unless you look at the bottom / sides of my tongue. Now in the far back of my tongue, it looks bad, I would almost describe it as a scaly gray coating on my tongue. Even further behind that, there are red lumps, and on the far underside of my tongue, it's a darker red. I'm lead to believe that this is either oral thrush, a yeast infection of the tongue, often caused by (to my knowledge) having a dry mouth, diabetes, or a weakened immune system. Thrush, is curable. The other concern is what is known as Geographic Tongue, which, is disgusting, and not curable. I hope to whatever being I could hope to that it's not geographic tongue.
I've recently got a girlfriend, and my tongue being disgusting simply will not do. I fear it will get worst.
So, that is all the information I can give, thoughts?
