Concussion

So today I hit my forehead hard on a metal corner and it cut my head open a little bit. And afterwards I felt dizzy. Do I have a concussion?

If you only felt dizzy after the fall and not now, then I'd say it was just the fall that made you dizzy rather than a concussion. It doesn't sound like one anyway.

A concussion could be any hit to the head. Smacking someone over the head can be considered a concussion.

Just some are more serious than others, and some actually damage the brain, while others don't.

Dizziness is a sign of a more extreme concussion, are you able to walk well, see alright, nothing is blurry. You don't feel like your going to fall when you walk?

Concussion happens after trauma to the head. it starts off worse and gets better. a compression starts off better and gets worse. if it got any worse since it could be compression which is more serious

We get these way to often in hockey.
your right any hit to the head is technically a cuncussion.
the thing is did you got knocked out?
did you have a bad headach in one particular spot afterwards?
Did you get sick?
were you eyes like weird?

I bet your fine but yea we deal with these alot.

No I was only dizzy for like an hour, im fine now though
