Mine was with a long time friend when I was like 13 or 14 :) We had no idea what we were doing, it was terrible lol but it was sweet and innocent. It wasn't until my next girlfriend that I learned everything. Surprise kisses can work either realllly well or reallllly badly. I remember a spontaneous kiss with my ex when it was snowing outside... it was amazing and very romantic. I also remember trying to surprise kiss a friend I thought liked me. Let's just say she dodged her head, I hit her forehead and we stood in silence for a good five minutes... It can go either way lol :P

Mine was a drunken mistake :o
I was in a tent with my cousin and two guys (twins) she started making out with one of them, and we were drinking and stuff (first time i'd ever touched alcohol.. and only out of anger. I wanted to get away.)
She urged me into kissing him and well.. it led into a full makeout session where I had no idea what I was doing, and he did.
The next morning I booked it outa the tent and never went to see the guys again.
The sad part is, we had been good friends, too.
Four years later, I now know what i'm doing XD <-- Had to clear that up.

Feeling like a wank...that's an interesting way to put it. :D

Anyway, it's not as awesome as it sounds, at least it wasn't for me. I think kissing gets subsequently better as a relationship moves along. Surprise kisses work a lot better when you've reached a comfortable kissing stage. I wouldn't try one on a first kiss in a relationship (especially if never kissed someone). The best kissing experiences i've had were laying down. There's something about two bodies laying on one another that turns me on. I think standing or sitting is awkward, even though that's usually how a first kiss happens.

Trust me, lots of people don't have their first kissing experience 'til late high school or even college. The best advice i can give is not to rush it; when you do, things get awkward and you start worrying about your kissing ability. When two people are ready, it'll happen.

One last comment. Don't be afraid to lead. Lots of guys (like myself) like girls that aren't afraid to take charge. Believe me, guys aren't going to stop you if you start it.

My first kiss was AMAZING!! my boyfriend drove me home and we went inside. And he knew I had never kissed anyone. And he wanted it to be special. So he walked up. Hugged me. And leaned in. (I kinda just stood there.) and he kissed me. Then we kissed again. And he asked me if thi was ok. And I said. "yes. It is. :)" and we kissed again. Open mouth. It was great. i still remember my first kiss, it was only last year but we'd just been to the cinema and we were walking along the park... it was dark and we were talking but he stopped and pulled me towards him, it shocked me at first and i was as nervous as hell but i soon relaxed and it was really nice and sweet ^_^

Im not sure surprise kisses work.... One of my friends went up to the girl he liked and did it (just a peck on the check)...anyway, she slapped him and reported it to the headteacher, and he was suspended for a day for 'inappropriate behaviour'. That is an extreme case though, and she is part of a feminist group..so she may have overeacted

I tell you where surprise kisses do work though....in the movies and on American teen dramas! :D
