I started just this week..and it feels good for some reason, I just worry situations where I'll need to show my wrists for something casual and theres my cut wrists ya kno? Does it get worse and worse as you go? I find myself wanting to cut allot deeper and more everyday.

It gets alot worse. Take this from someone who has been doing this for more then a year, Stop now. You don't wanna get addicted to this. It leads to nothing good. And once you're addicted, it's hard to stop.

I started off VERY mildly, I now have hundreds of permanent scars over my body, some of which required stitches, I've also hit a few veins.

So, yes, it DOES get worse.

Stop before it gets to that point.

It gets a LOT worse as you go along, I would strongly advise to quit wile you're ahead. The longer you cut the worse it's going to get, the deeper you're going to go, and the harder it will be to quit. You really don't want those scars forever. It makes so many thing so much harder.

The reason your enjoying it is due to the release of endorphines which make your body feel really good. And yeah it does get a lot worse. As the above have said.

Since you've only just started try and get out of it ASAP!

.... i've been slef harming for 7 years now... stop now... please.. it gets a lot worse as it goes along, the longer you do it the hardr to quit... its like a drug... before you know it the little scrapes will become shallow cuts to deeper cuts. you will get hrrible scars.... scars you cannot hide... . you'll want to cut a lot more too... just one little cut will become 50+....... you wil not be able to waer short sleeves agan.. scars last forever....is it really worth it? a few seconds of relief? for a lifetime of scars? stop... please...

it will only get worse unfortunately. i recommend you stop cutting before you seriously hurt yourself to the point where you can't fix it. please try to stop.

You said you've only been doing it one week so it may not be too hard for you to stop, if you keep going with this you'll just get worse until it comes to a point your entire life is centered around self harm. To use the old cliché, get out while you still can.
