View Full Version : Understanding you and I

There is something there
I can’t tell what or where
But when I look at you
I know it, it’s just there

It’s like an attraction
No more an action
To be deceived as lust
Simply something if you must

I look into your eyes
So cliché it seems
That is where I start
I want to see your heart

What am I looking for?
What is it with you?
I find myself drawn
To know so much more

Anxiety pressures as I call
You don’t answer the phone
Oh well, no glove, no ball
I’ll simply wait and stall

Confused, curious, frustrated
I want to know why I question
Everything is an odd obsession
I shouldn’t want to know this

It’s easy to get lost
Wondering how and if
Could something be?
What is it?

I don’t understand you
No, it is all because of me
I don’t understand me
Isn’t it easy to see?

I’ll see your face soon
Not worrying about speech
I know you will be there
But will I forget to speak?

I will most likely lose it
Forget where I am
And not ever understand,
Now, what was I asking again?
