I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for getting a latter curfew.
I'm 15 and have a curfew of 7pm. No matter the day.

Just be responsible with what they are trusting you with right now and eventually, once you have gained some trust, they might extend your curfew.

Yeah...problem is that some parents just don't see reason. I go to boarding school and when I'm home my parents let me do almost anything I want but I have friends whose parents are nazi's...doesnt matter how responsible your are or how reasonable the request...I hope you can end up talking sense into your parents...
Try stuff like maybe telling them you'll call every hour or so if you are out past 7...or that you are at a friends house whose parents they know and their parents can call and confirm that you are there.

o man i had the same problem as u do. over last summer when i was 14 my curfew was be home by dark! the reason was because i have to cross an illinois state highway thats a busy street but not so much at night( and no not like divided highway just 2 lanes both ways. and its a town over but im in the burbs) and theres a traffic light. so i am trust worthy which helps. um i had been complaining about it since the year b4. so i had come home one night toward the end of summer (and btw my mom would always call me and tell me to come home bc i wouldnt leave till she called) and when she called me i was pissed bc it was like 730. so when i get home i walk in a just look at here then look at a clock and i was like mom come on. she was like ya im sorry \. and then i basiclly got it changed.
just try asking nicely and say that everyone can stay out way later ( i told them my friends curfew and it got changed to that) and just say its gettin g out of hand how early u have to be in. and say like come on im 15 u can trust me im not a little kid anymore. but in a nice way.
good luck

I never had a specific curfew but I had to always tell my parents where I was and I had to be in by a reasonable time. However, with time they slackened, I think because I kept to what I was told, they knew they could trust me, and by the time I was 16 I was free to pretty roam where I wanted though for some strange reason I still used to text my parents to tell them where I was. Old habits die hard.
However, some parents might not do that. First try talking to them, tell them how unfair you think it is. 7 is quite extreme for a 15 year old, its only a few hours with your friends after school. Talk to them, if not, why not try when your out and its nearly your curfew text your parents and ask if you can stay out a bit later tonight at a friends house, see what they say. They might say yes, and then as you do it more often they find out that nothing happens and your curfew may be lifted.
