What's there you don't understand?

I passed = I graduated
Promoted = Advancing to the next year
Class or Standard = Grade

Simple, no?

No board exams are fun. I am having from the 3rd. In India we even have boards for 10th and I performed very well in that and I expect the same in 12th also.:D

I know. I went to the 10th Board exams, the thing that bothered me that our school got repute for....bad marks students.

You can PM me for the roll number. I failed in french and passed in the retest.
Because French is the only optional language in my school

Other got like in 90's and 80's, and the least in 60's.

That's why I fear 12th board being sooo hard.
I will work my butt off this time.

I will go to Bangalore once I am done, and go for AIEEE.

I get all that. I just don't know what level of education that is. I'm guessing it's equivalent to high school over here except that the educational system over here is a joke.

Depends where you live. I learn a lot.
But, if I lived in Mississippi still, I wouldn't learn as much.
If I was in rural Georgia, I would learn less. It depends where you live if you're going to get good education or not.

It is equal equivalent to your last year in school(probably you call it high school). But I have heard that you learn calculus and all in 'high school' whereas we learn it during our class 8th ie. 4 years before 'high school'.

Board

You learned Calculus in class 8???

I remember the Squaring and Cubing numbers when I was at 8th grade.

But still, board is tough in anyways. It's something incomparable.

Why is it hard?

Because, only those who are capable can only be able to participate in higher education. The rest can go for technical studies.
And class 10th board certificate is important, no matter what you will do in your future.

I am shaking in fear and paranoid from now, I haven't even took a glimpse in a book and or how it will be.
