I cut last night and a couple of the cuts are still bleeding right now, nearly 10 hours later. I've done all that I know to do, as in apply pressure and all that jazz. but it still hasn't stopped..

thats good news :) however you stilll need to drink water and well maybe not take iron pills... because i'm not a doctor and can't tell you to go taking meds... perhaps eating foods with lots of iron in them... i know you don't eat but what you do eat can it be foods with lots of iron in them?

Use something like a napkin or tissue and put pressure on that. Don't remove that one. Apply more as needed and when the top ones soak up more blood remove those but keep the one contacting the skin there. Leave it there and when you think it's done bleeding wait longer just to be sure then remove it. Try and keep it bandaged somehow for a day or so.
For future reference of course. Hopefully you won't have to stop any bleeding though.

I've got a better idea. How about you use your time and energy trying not to cut instead of working on a way to not bleed as much.

Spinach and bruccli are good source of Iron in vegetables, while Mutton or Beef are good source of animal Iron.
This well not help in blood regulation, but to have more hemoglobin cells in red blood cells for good oxygen transport. Blood are actually made in bone marrow.
Clotting is not always a good thing, as this might cause something even worse, a brain stroke is the worst thing can happen.

I am working on that but at the moment not bleeding out is the primary concern.

What is the thing that stops blood from coming out from your skin?
Aye, platelets from red blood cells and some proteins, if they are collected in one area, they will washed and moved to other area. In some particular area they get collected and end up blocking that area, be it your veins or arteries.

Get To The Hospital
You cut far too deep. It shouldn't be bleeding continuasly that long. yes, things can re open after the fact, but that is not ok.

Top gear humor is lost on you.
So, still bleeding. Medically you should have put a tourniquet on it hours and hours ago. (didn't mention because it's kinda hard to conceal one. Hospital time bucko.

Yeah I have no idea what you're talking about..
No, it stopped about two hours ago. And I did use a tourniquet, I'm smart lol I know what to do, and I'm very good at hiding things.

lololol Why ask here if you know what to do then? Just curious. There's nothing you can do after improvising a tourniquet except hospital. Anyway. Not cutting works wonders, or so I've heard.

But I am tired, so cut your self well I am resting and save me some time and money.
And this is what I wanted to try to use, it is thin and fragile but sharp and can cut even metal.

Wow, the arrogance of people here is unbelievable.
Marice, I've cut veins before, it's possible you have too, so if it does start bleeding again, raise your arm above your head and keep tight pressure on the wound.
Keep it very clean, bandage it up, beforehand, if you've anything to keep it clean ie; a cream or spray or sanitizer wipes, use them, (or alcohol), then keep a nice and tight dressing around it, try to raise it above your heart a lot so it prevents further bleeding, don't play around with it, don't mess with it, and TRY NOT TO CUT OVER IT.
If you think you may have gone too deep, go to the hospital.
I know it sucks to go there, been there dozen of times, but if you have seriously hurt yourself, you'll need to go.
You could have also caused nerve damage, that's another reason to go, plus the scars can be made less severe by getting stitches.
Please try to not cut, if you do, try to limit the damage as we all know you could go too deep one day and the bleeding could be very severe and you may die BEFORE 10 hours of bleeding, you may die right there & then, possibly from hitting an artery, my good friend nearly did.
Take care, & I'm here if you need me.

I't okay now, it has stopped and hasn't started again.
I won't cut over it, seeing as though I'm not cutting anymore. :)
