we call weed blaze in school. apparently, it's good and i should try it.
last term, i got in trouble for bringing alcohol to school and i got suspended for it. i live with my grandma and even though she doesn't know it, i'm about to murder myself because she keeps bringing it up.
last night, i had to watch my family drink some wine. usually, i'm allowed to have some. now, everytime i look at it, they remind me of what happened LAST TIME.
just to defy them, NEXT TIME will involve blaze.
SHOULD NEXT TIME INVOLVE BLAZE???

I never had alcohol and nor did I tried to smoke weed. I prefer to be non-sober by other means other than consumables.

Marijuana
Sure is, Cannabis was long discovered it goes back to the 3rd Millinea B.C.
It was discovered first as a medical remedy and a method of soothing pain.
It was used during wars, In case of inhealable injury; which in case a limb needed for amputation that is.
Name Hashish is derived from the Arabic word, meaning weed or grass.
Common name is marijuana.
Also another uses is used in religious ceremony. Commonly as hallucinogens.
In India, the Hindu guru's and followers uses weed effect of hallucination.
Which they are the keys for a gate way between human and spiritual worlds. Also called Ganja; a Sanskrit name for Cannabis.
None the less, there are about more then 100eds of types of marijuana.
The quick and physical effect of marijuana is as follows.
The rednees of eye. <<< A negative effect.
The skin relaxation <<< Used for that purpose.
Increase in heart beat <<< Both have negative and positive side.
Dryness of Mouth <<< Makes you feel thirsty quickly.
Cannabis joints are potentially the most harmful method of consumption. Temperatures can reach 700°C.
Also it is considered a national treat in Jamaica. Nearly 60-70% of population are Cannabis consumers. It's one unique country which does not seize it as illigal
((may be my father went there?? He didn't show us the ticket? ))
Well, Cannabis is harmful. It is addictive, use it at your own risk.
And now for the dependancy.
Marijuna in fact like alcohol, some people try alcohol but few comes out alcoholic, but that's based on the first try.
But if there is a habital use of the said drug that doesn't mean a person is addictit to it.
But marijuna diminishes the lifestyle in health and social wise. As it is considered illegal in the most case countries (other then Jamaica and other)
After usage, people have trouble to go on with out it. They say they have trouble relaxing or getting with out it. Each smoke puffs put a person in new level of "high", which makes them more and more need for it.
Also, people gets this tendancy of getting used to the habit of marijuna users lifestyle rather then their own. Heavy users are pron to addiction and have less thought of leaving the daily life marijuna.
Usage in a daily routine fashion is an another secret for addiction.Pyhisical addiction is minute compared to the psychological dependence.
For example, consider someone who has been smoking Marijuana for most of their life. They use the drug almost every day, and they justify the use of it for almost any situation.
Smoking Marijuana in a long term of succissive period of time will lead to a psychological addiction. It's more mental then pyhsicial addiction. Both working in a parallel position. Each with it's side effect.
In more scientific approach (I will refer marijuana it's technical name "cannibas")
The most prevalent psychoactive substances in cannabis are cannabinoids, including delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9-THC, commonly called simply THC). In the past two decades, the average content of THC in marijuana sold in North America has increased from about 1% to 3–4% or more. Some varieties, having undergone careful selection and growing techniques, can yield as much as 29% THC. Another psychoactive cannabinoid present in Cannabis sativa is tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV), but it is only found in small amounts.
In 1990, the discovery of cannabinoid receptors located throughout the brain and body, along with endogenous cannabinoid neurotransmitters like anandamide (a lipid material derived ligand from arachidonic acid), suggested that the use of cannabis affects the brain in the same manner as a naturally occurring brain chemical. With cannabis consumption the receptors receive the chemical constituents with it, it's stopped the brain will react for it's hunger and need for the chemical in cannabis.
Good effect, that I haven't mentioned before are.
The psychoactive effects of cannabis, known as a "high", are subjective and can vary based on the individual and the method of use. Some effects may include an altered state of consciousness, euphoria, feelings of well-being, relaxation or stress reduction, increased appreciation of humour, music or art, joviality, meta cognition and introspection, enhanced recollection (episodic memory), increased sensuality, increased awareness of sensation, increased libido, creative or philosophical thinking, disruption of linear memory and paranoia or anxiety. (That's why my father is always ok...)
Somatic effects I have already mentioned in the first post.
The total short-term duration of cannabis intoxication when smoked is based on the potency and how much is smoked. Effects can typically last two to three hours for one gram.
The areas of the brain where cannabinoid receptors are most prevalently located are consistent with the behavioural effects produced by cannabinoids.

That's a one point perspective depending on the person. I don't like alcohol, but many others and including you like it. Personally, I don't like alcohol. I prefer to stick to my psychedelia.
BTW, there is a rule saying any talk or encouragement of drug abuse is prohibited and might liable me or any one else into a banishment.

I hold your opinion on sticking to cannabis / psychedelia. You have decent reasoning too.
There's no rule saying you can't talk about it, you just can't actively promote anything illegal on here. Bit of a hazy ground really.

So, how's the latter quote has no connection to the first quote. I just don't understand. You say it is okay to discuss and yet you say it is not...?? Make no sense to me, or the recieving end(that's me :D ) understands nothing from what you've said.

I don't make the rules, sorry, I just try to interpret them.
Quite honestly, I can't quite define what you can and can't talk about exactly when it comes to illicit drugs on VT, it just comes down to someone's subjective (from their point of view) judgment when looking over a post as to whether or not it violates the rules.
If you want the official rap on it, have a chat with Maverick (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/private.php?do=newpm&u=2879) who is our VT overlord.
