embarrassing problem

its really really hot here at the moment, like 31C or something and I really wanna wear shorts/ 3quarter lengnths but im really embarased about showing my legs. Last summer they were hairless and over the winter they got covered in hair and now they look like a yeti's legs (lol). i dont want to show them to my mum or anything as they'll probably laugh and say 'ooo ur growing up!'. anything i can do or say?
im 15 btw

Well you have a few options. 1) You could shave them. 2) Deal with it and just wear pants. 3) Wear shorts and be proud that your growing up.If your parents or any one say anything just smile and walk away.

i wanna shave 'em and then wear shorts so my parents can see the hair grow, but shaving them wouldn't be natural, is there like a thing that can get rid of your hair and prevent it from growing for a couple of weeks?

i dont think u can prevent hair growth. your best bet might just be to shave them and keep shaving. then when u think u want ur mom and dad to see then let it grow. ;)

What do you mean by shaving isn't natural. I'm sure there is a drug that can stop the hair from growing. But it is most likely prescription and your parents would have to get it.

A lot of swimmers shave their legs. So you do it if you want.

i had the same experience when i hit puberty. I'm 15 and sounds like i got hairs on my legs about the same time as you. Anyway, i felt really self-concious about my legs and didnt even like showing them when playing football or rugby but as all my other are starting to catch up with me in terms of leg hair, i use it as someting to be proud of and if anyone does make a criticism i just say im proud of it and its not their place to judge. My legs being hairy cant be much of a factor because I have a girlfriend now and she actually told me she thinks its sexy :P So dont worry about, it happens to everybody

Meh, live with it, it's there, everyone ahs it, just do what you feel comfortable doing. If you don't see the need to shave, don't let anyone tell you what to do with your body.

Same thing happened to me, just wear shorts and if your mum or dad say anything about it then just ignore them , they'll stop doing it eventualy.
