So, currently, I'm learning two languages. I learn French at school and Japanese I study on my own. I absolutely love both languages! French just has this certain elegance that always entices me to learn more, at school and at home. Japanese appeals to me because I love the different characters. Plus, in my opinion, Japanese is alot easier to write because it uses less writing than Roman languages.

Anybody else have a foriegn language they're dedicated to?

Spanish I have more or less mastered atm, but I'm moving on to Latin. I love studying it!

Ah, minus one from French. I still thought I was forced to take it, forgot I was in Year 10...

I'm sort of teaching myself Latin, I haven't actually started yet. I am... eventually.

Where's English?

As an English as a second language speaker, I feel discriminated against.

I study Spanish, German, and have studied Chinese in the past (it's my college degree, after all). All in all I speak 4 languages decently, plus my terrible Chinese.

I'm learning French because I think it is a very interesting langauge, and I like it a lot. And plus, I don't care for Spanish.

French I studied since Grade 3 plus going to Quebec countless times. German I'm sort of learning on my own. I tried the language-learning software for it but it wasn't that great. I can speak some words of it but nothing amazing. Latin I'm indirectly learning through biology although it's very little. Japanese we had to learn in karate as the sensei would give the commands only in Japanese despite being able to speak English very well (didn't mark it down because I haven't been going to karate for a bit so I slacked off).

English should be added to the list because for many people, English is not their first-language, it may not even be their second-language. I had to learn English as a second-language back in kindergarten.
