Anyone read Green Angel by Alice Hoffman?
Yes! It was my favourite book for many years - a writing style that is severely underrepresented in novels. My own writing tends to follow a similar ambiguous, allegorical approach, and I often remember referring back to this book for insight.

As of now, my all-time favourite is Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness. Though a far-removed, historical setting, the themes and ideas explored within has provided much wisdom to my personal experiences.
