If Exrtaterrestrials arrived on Earth, how would you respond?

Scenerio 1- They look extremely different than us and they are far more superior (strength and technology)

Scenerio 2- They looked basically the same as us but their culture had things we would consider wrong ( scarifice their own kind, had a VERY different language system(that's not wrond but different))

Would you intergrate them or send them back?

Scenario 1 - I'd be like, "man, I wouldn't want to fuck with his day."
Scenario 2 - I would like, "huh, those crazy aliens and their sacrificing ways."

Anyway, I wouldn't shun scenario one, but possibly scenario two since that is way more barbaric.

S1- if they were peaceful then I would love to have some aliens live in my nieghborhood.
S2- As long as they didn't try to sacrifice me or were civil in all the othere ways, then I would integrate them.

In conclusion: as long as they weren't killing us or keeping us as slaves, then they're ok in my book!

See if they can help us with certain scientific problems and breakthoughs and in turn we try to help them or provide them with information on something they didn't have.

Having a different language wouldn't be a bother because on this planet, there are thousands, possibly millions of various unique languages, both verbal and manual-visual. The odd, possibly illegal cultural acts I'd have a problem with for two instances. First, when they come to our culture, just like for when other humans come to other cultures on Earth, they must obey the laws even if they don't obey the social norms. Second, if they don't interact with humans in such a way, then it poses as an even greater threat to us and so we'd likely need to resort to war or peaceful resolutions.

We should not immediately accept them into our social mentality.

It would take years for them to be introduced in Human society. People must consider their nature and goals in order to create the most logical decision.

Scenario 1: As long as they're peaceful, I'd get along with them like they were any other person.

Scenario 2: Depending on their hostility, I wouldn't mind how different their culture may be. However, every law we have would also have to apply to them.

Scenario 1 - Sounds good actually, we could learn more and advance together has human beings. Strength wise it would be good because we can further our technological stand point, but that could be a bad thing.

Scenario 2 - Doesn't sound too good. Here we are, a weak race coming to a potentially stronger race. They'd probably expect war. There ways being seen as wrong, I'd be a bit skeptical of them, but would be willing to help teach them the right ways of doing things.

My overall opinion depends on how both races would react. As completely amazing it would be to have alien lifeforms land on our planet and having them integrated into the entire system would be great; but that doesn't automatically assume we can trust them.
