A week or so ago I experiment shaving my feminine spot
(Without asking how to do it, or asking if I should even shave at my age)
I only shaved a little leaving medium strands of hair left
The next morning it was EXTREMELY itchy wear I shaved
i tried hydroctorisone cream on it for a couple of days but nothing happend
I shaved more off so the strands were small and I could see the red itchy spot
I continued the hydrocortisone cream and the next day it was SO itchy, but also VERY VERY VERY painful, not just itchy. The hairs were constricting my private part. It felt like the hairs were pinching me, it was the worst day at school ever
I go home and decide to shave it all off
I cant get it all off
Its a bunch of super tiny pointy bristles left and they ar ehurting me and itching
Im out of the cream I was using
And I need a cure NOW!
I can get to the doctors tonight
I cant get to the pharmacy I cant get anywhere
what do I do?
Im not comfortable talking to a parent so I came here
Help!:(

Don't worry, shaving your hairs will indeed make it itchy, which is why i don't do it. Although im a guy.. Maybe try some baby powder or some sort of irritation reducer? Possibly take an Ibuprofen to ease the pain abit, im sorry but you will just have to let your hair grow, eventually the pain will go away :) Hopefully anyways, goodluck
*edit* Also may i ask how old you are?

14, ok. So i would say just wear something snug, like maybe one of your pads for your period, those seem to be comfy, put some baby powder on it maybe, and put it on one day, see how that works. All i can think of in such short notice, good luck hun!

Thats what happens to everyone there first time shaving... then the 2nd time a lil less irritation, third time even less.... for me its like.... 1 or 2 ingrown hairs everytime....

to avoid ingrowns, after you shave, rub the area with a medicated pad (such as sally hansen zero bumps pads)...
also, it can help to sit in a warm bath for a few minutes before you shave; that will soften the hair.
if you have toner with salycillic acid in it, that works also (soak a cotton pad in it)
options other than shaving that can reduce ingrown hairs would be to use a depilatory (like nair) or waxing (which can be painful)
hope this has helped, and good luck

yea, the first couple of times u shave it will itch the most and hurt the most. the pain is most likely coming from the small hairs that have grown back and those being so small catch things and move the skin around them more because the hairs themselves arent long enough to move around. once they grow more the pain should go away. also u mentioned u didnt really know how to shave them, at least that's how i read it. well it sounds like u shaved them and irritated them and got too much of the razor on the skin. next time maybe use an electric trimmer or a good razor with shaving cream and go slowly and smoothly

So the tiny bubble like bumps all over the red area are just part of the irritation, or are they blisters or something?

the lil bubble like bumps, the way u describe them, represent irritation from the shaving. or they could be the small bumps from where your hair is growing back

i suggest you dont wear underwear at the moment, try to be naked when you are sleeping...

the little bumps are most likely ingrowns.
when you shave, you should be shaving in the direction that the hair grows. shaving against the growth of the hair can cause more irritation, but shaving with the growth of the hair helps the hair to grow back more smoothly

Cud be razor burn. I get it on my head (The upper one) when I shave it down with a straight razor or pocket knife.

This is another example of what altering your body unnaturally can do, obviously we were meant to have pubic hair. Just leave it be, and if you dont like how it looks, trim it a little.

That happened to me the first time... keep it really clean and it'll go away but dont scratch it. Next time you shave it probably wont happen, at least not as bad.
