He loves you. He cares thats why he is saying this. He just wants exactly what is best for you. What he said, although it wasn't helpful, does not mean that he doesn't want you :) There are lots of people out there who care for you. Throwing yourself in a river will just make your death a failiure too. If your alive you can change things, make a differnece to your life and when you do die, know that you served a purpose in the world. Why die now hating life when you can die like that?

Well if you feel bad then do something about it. he feels like he failed you. sit him down and talk about it get the help you need! maybe that way you can both be happy. the thing is this post could just be a waste because i know where ur at. you have to open your eyes and accept the help offered to you until you do ur going to stay the very same as you are now. Its your choice and until you decide to take the advice given you nothing will change its you that has to do work. only you know whether you Are willing to put in that work. im sorry if this sounds harsh im just trying to help you

I understand you now feel like a failure as a son too?
Perhaps you both need a good, long talk together about how you both feel?
