What is outside the Universe? If it is expanding all the time then what is outside it? What do you think? I have no idea personally.

I am a great believer in science, first off. But for some reason the Multiverse theory stands out for me, that is that there are other universes out there just like ours that exsist due to decisions we make etc..

For example, you're driving a car and you come to a T-Junction, and go left. In another universe you'd go right and so on.

But then the question becomes. What is outside all these multiverses?

Well stating the obvious but there has to be some form of matter out there. Who knows maybe it's full of millions of elements we haven't even discovered.

But u forget. when the universe was created everything was created with an opposite. everything is made of matter yet anti matter is proven to exist yet they cant find where in the universe it is. so maybe that is what is outside

I like the theory proposed by Futurama that states there is another universe next to ours where everyone is a cowboy.

who knows, it can keep going for ever and ever. i dont think if just stops, i think theres just space with universes, planets, even other life forms.

Before this can be answered, one has to define just what is within our universe, nevermind what is outside it. If we assume our universe contains everything and so we adhere to a single universe theory, then matter exists outside the universe (possibly). If we take a multiple universe theory, then there are dimensions or "branes" increasing in order, and so one could go from universe to universe.

One thing that gets me is that if there is a universe for every single desicion that anyone has ever made, there would have to be an infinite number of universes because we have an infinite number of desicions all the time (as in EXACTLY how you do things). For instance, when walking down a corridor, you have an option (even if subconciously) to make a step with your left leg that's further or less far, which is a petty and insignificant, but still valid, desicion in itself.

Therefore, you wouldn't be able to even get an 'beyond the universes'. It is also because of this concept of infinity (as well as the lack of evidence which can never be given anyway) that makes me disbelieve in this theory.

My big thing is why this happens. I believe that there is an infinite amount of universes touching ours. But what I believe is that not every decision we make triggers a new universe but the laws of physics change. Take for example the speed of light, perhaps in another universe, that law can be broken or can never even be acheived by light itself. What boggles my mind is not the other universes themselves but what triggered them. I am a firm nonbeliever in god. I support the big bang theory 100% but other univeres may have come about differently. One theory is that eveytime a universe touches another one, a new universe is created.

There exists other galaxies as well.
Due to the extent of the universe, it would be virtually impossible to understand the nature of it. All we can do is shape our own ideas, supported by sensible reasons.

The Thinker

I believe that the Universe is finite (While nonetheless expanding). If something were to reach the end; I believe that it would reflect back in on it self and continue on inversely back from which it came, unchanged. I believe we exist in the only Universe ever manifested. Although, I think that we exist in one of many planes (or dimensions) which all function within the same space, but with different laws. I imagine that these dimensions occasionally interact with each other; causing paranormal phenomena.

I base these claims on nothing but faith, however, with nothing to prove and confirm them in ANY way. I hope this helps provide some perspective?

I am skeptic about these so called "dimensions".

It makes me feel empty when I think about it.

First off, we will never know. There is no way of knowing, and there will be none. It will always be one big theory on wether there is or is not something beyond the fringe of the Universe. We are forever expanding, but we will eventually begin to condense and stop expanding. It is inevitable but we will be long gone after that.

Yeah... like time? What are the odds of that really existing? And width. Is there any scientific proof of that really existing? REALLY?

You are being very narrow minded. As we speak I am developing a multidemenional space probe which will give us an accurate figure of the hyperdimenional universe. (Well, not really, but you get the picture.)

Personally I think that there is some pretty amazing stuff that is WAY beyond rational comprehension (at present.)

You perceive time.If there was not time there could not be any modification on anything because it wouldn't be able to happen? IDK I'm not good at this.Ignore me

I believe in the theory that the universe isn`t expanding, but already infinite. If the universe contains everything, there can`t be anything beyond the borders. It is not logical to believe that outside our universe is the sinister antimatter, theoretically would mean that our universe is contained within another universe.

Expansion is the kinetic energy left by the big bang that is still moving into the dark matter.

But, what we said now is if there are the other universe. I'd say yes, there is. Think of a mirror room, room is spherical, where ever you look you will see the reflection of the reflection and it will keep happening.

But why we can't see the dark beyond because they(other universe) haven't reached the visible spectrum, so it might take time to reach us. So until then, we have the right to be in the position of speculating those stuff.

I am tired, leave me alone!
