so i really want to take pictures for a living. whether it's landscapes, people, anything and everything. i thought of photo jurnalism too. my question(s) is how do i need to make this dream real? does this profession require a college degree? where do i go to get a job or internship to take pictures? please help!

usually a art intstitute will have a photography program, which will help.

Typically, it requires a college degree. CollegeBoard (www.collegeboard.com) is a really good site for reading up on college majors, related occupations, and colleges that offer the major you want narrowed down by other criteria (location, tuition, etc.)

Talk to a school counselor. People always underestimate them. In my HS, college prep was the only thing they were useful for and they were damn useful. They could easily steer you in the right direction.
