I perfer Flightsim X but I heard Xplane was better but i tried the demo and it was hard to understand and i didnt like the cockpits. but what do you think?

Well prefer FS9 (FS 2004). It's much more user-friendly and doesn't crash (pun not intended) as much as FSX, plus there are much more compatible add ons for FS2004 than them. Plus FSX doesn't like going on LNAV, VNAV or anything like that. It has none of it and completely ignores it (I've done it the exact same way in FS2004 and no problems, yes I am doing it right)... But seen as how you've limited it to one or the other I said FSX, seen as how it's nearer to FS2004 than X-Plane.

I've tried both but still stick with FS. I used to use FSX but it got to a point were there was a lot of lag, and not a lot of addons. So I switched to FS2004 and loved it. It almost never lags for me, and low frame rates (9-14) actually run smoothly. Also the ton of payware addons
