Why the hell isn't it loading?

And on the very rare occasions it does load the lag is unbearable.

What you should have said: "Hey, I know you guys are working your asses off keeping this site up and running and providing us with wonderful commodoties and privileges that we could easily live without but I noticed the chat has been acting up lately. I've been having trouble getting it to load and when it does load, it lags a lot. Any idea what's causing this? It might be my computer or an issue with the chat. I'd appreciate it a lot if you took some of the time you guys sacrifice to take care of VT and make sure it's a wonderful place for us to be and checked this out. Thanks so much for everything you do!"

I know that it's my comp, because I can see people who are in there. When I try it just loads and stops saying it's done when the chat window (or where it should be) is just black.

Lol. Owned Jeff, I don't know. It's your end, so it's kinda your problem. Not sure how VT can fix it from their end... :) Try a different browser. I know sometimes *using safari* if Im not in the same window and wait for it to load (ie i don't go to a new tab or another window) it will just go black and wont load. (Though that could be a java + Safari problem...)

Probably because he didn't bother using Safari, or he just didn't think it was the browser itself.

I learned that awhile ago Jeff. I was browsing on Firefox and felt like chat but it was really laggy. I could've told you. Sorry.

I've been using it on Firefox with no real problems. I use the (float) option. Firefox updated itself to 3.5.7 yesterday and it does seem faster since then.

i use it onmy regular internet explorer and it works just fine
i like the new layout of it. its easier for me to work with

Now it works with Firefox but NOT Safari! I hate it when stuff stops working and then works for no apparent reason.
