Is this sort of hypocritical I must ask? I'm Gay, I like men and everything girls have cooties( lol ) and things like that. What I'm not though is running around saying "Oh I love dick." or talking like a chick in a high pitched voice. I absolutely hate Gay people who are all happy, giddy, and talk in their high pitched voice to try to act gay. I mean, does anyone else feel the same who is Gay?:what:

Yes I feel the same way. I'm gay. But the only thing feminine I do is crossdress. Some straight guys do that, so it's not really a stereotype.

My voice is very deep. I enjoy weightlifting, sports. I'm the exact same way.

There are many gay guys who don't act gay.

I'm bi, but this HIGHLY annoys me, and I find it EXTREMELY unattractive.

although i actually think those high-pitched stereotypically gay people are fun to be around i know that not all gay people are like that. the high school quarterback at my school is gay. he's totally macho and the epitome of cool. he's also totally in the closet. but if he ever came out he would certainly still be into football and sports.

I'm gay also, but I find flamers very very annoying. There's a difference between feminine and flaming. Yeah, flamers annoy me. Quite literally, I was just talking to Lance about this. I hate gay people who walk up and are like, "Hey, I'm gay. What's your name?" I dont do that, straight people don't do that, so I don't find it acceptable for anyone to do that.

Flamers ruin everything. Its never good to dump the blame on anyone group but in my mind the flamers and the people acting crazy in gay parades, are why people sometimes dislike LGBT people.

It doesn't piss me off but the hand swinging, jumpy, high pitched gay people are... different.

There is a kid at school who is a flamer he isn't really a bad guy but when he gets all girly it makes people frown. Countless people including myself say "there isn't anthing wrong with him being gay, but when he screams it out to everyone thats annoying".

I agree I'll be honest. I find really feminine guys a bit annoying, in the same way that I find really "girly" girls irritating. What winds me up most though is how people expect all gays to be like that, and it's really not true at all. Gareth Thomas, Welsh rugby star, gay but not camp. Stephen Fry, Elton John, Simon Amstell, Matt Lucas - all gay but not overly feminine.

Personally, I'm bi but I'm pretty masculine - deep voice, play sports etc. I think people have accepted me more because I'm not feminine, and I think guys who are feminine are discriminated against more, particularly at my school. I've got nothing against them myself, I just find them a bit of a turn off - that's all.

I can't stand really feminine gays. It is a huge turnoff. I'm gay, but if you met me you would never know. I shocked all of my friends when I came out. The honestly had no idea and thought I was joking with them. Flamers, at least most of them, are very dramatic and thats just not me. I don't like spreading my business around for the world to know. I don't exclaim "I'm Gay" to everyone and where t-shirts that say so.

Flamboyance is often a result of how the person has been brought up. If he is around women more than men, he has a good chance of picking up how a woman acts and act that way himself. I don't have a father that has really put a lot of effort into shaping who I am today, though my father has always been there. I at times, am very flamboyant though I try not to be and personally find it annoying. I have recently accepted the fact that I am gay. I am going to try hard to not be an annoying gay man, because it is unattractive and at times obnoxious. I do believe that even a straight man needs to loosen up and be a little more feminine at times, it doesnt mean your gay

Lol I actually have a term for this stuff, gay and homosexual. i dislike people, mostly man that are effeminate. I think man and woman where built to act as their body is, and biologically man are stronger than woman, a gay guy that's buff acting effeminate looks ridiculous. With woman i don't mind much thou. I like when a girl is butch and all dyke it's so fucking sexy : )

And to leave it clear flamboyant ppl are gay, and conservative people are homosexuals

Of course!! its a negative stereotype, who would like it, its no better than racism, and I like it how you have an up beat attitude about this.
