View Full Version : Too young to be a parent

It's all a waiting game now. But I'm worried as hell, since there is always a chance the Plan B won't work.
She hasn't been feeling well the last week and hasn't been to school very much, but it is a little early for pregnancy symptoms to be showing up isn't it?? :(
I'm so scared. I asked my Magic 8 Ball if she's pregnant, and it said "very doubtful" (seriously!). I so hope it's right. :(
I absolutely love the idea of being a parent, but just not at this point in my life. If I were to become a parent right now, I would still love the child to death and it's welfare and happiness would be my top priority in life. But the problem lies with how I would ensure it's welfare and happiness, being still a year and a half to two years away from finishing high school right now.
I don't have any big plans for after high school, like I don't really want to attend post secondary school or anything like that, but still... things would be a lot harder for all of us.
Plus, I don't even want to start thinking about how I would tell my father. And I especially don't want to think about how he might react to such news. Or even how my partner's parents would react.
Does anyone know how soon pregnancy symptoms generally start showing up? How soon can a pregnancy test be taken?

Didn't you say in your other thread you pulled out before the end? If you did then you really have nothign to worry about you can't get pregnant without sperm.

If it happens are you going to take responsablity and get a job? Are you going to focus on what needs to get done? Are you going to accept the punsihment and handle this situation well.

It's possible, but not likely.
Pre-cum or pre-ejaculatory fluid is released when a guy gets an erection. It cleans out the inside of the urethra, which is the tube that carries semen and urine out of the penis.
The fluid makes the urethra less acidic and gives the sperm a better shot at surviving the trip from the guy's testicles to the girl's fallopian tubes. There's usually NO sperm in pre-cum fluid.
But, if there are live sperm inside a guy's urethra (because he has ejaculated recently), the pre-cum can "pick up" the leftover sperm on its way through the urethra and out of the penis. If a guy pees after he ejaculates, that would kill leftover sperm.

Pregnancy symptoms start around the 4th and 5th week.
Plan b only works if you take it 48 hours after having sex.

If she's pregnant, you take care of her. You be responsible. Get a job, accept the consequences. If she isn't, BE MORE CAREFUL. Buying condoms is NOT difficult. They sell them to minors.

Killing a defenseless human being because of your mistake isn't the right thing to do... They conciously did what they did, they knew the risks and yet decided to have unprotected sex, there's no need for a murder...

:/ I don't care about the morality of abortion, its the woman who has to carry the baby it should be her choice whether to have it or not and we have no right to tell her if its wrong or right. Most of our medical advances would not exist if moral had gotten in the way

This is not an abortion debate so let's not turn it into one.

i believe the humane thing to do would be to give it up for adoption because your still a child yourself and you need to enjoy while you still can this is kind of a controversial subject, but i think the child should have a good life not saying you wouldnt give it one but you have to think about the baby too. the welfare and health. i hope this helps in someway

You can find a couple who will take care of all the costs of the pregnancy and take the child when it is born. whatever you choose i wish you the best of luck Hun. im sure you will do the right thing
