so, yesterday it started when i masturbate, in the middle of it i get a intense headache and it comes right away and it hurts a lot!! for over an hour.. whats wrong

edit: happened today too.. omg it still hurts.

EDIT FROM THE FUTURE: I'm 18 now, not a 14 year old curious boy anymore.. and good news guys, the headaches stopped a couple of weeks after this little issue here. :yeah:

I'd say I got about 12 brain splitting headaches before it just went away. This is when I was new to jerking off, so I kept jerking off because of how good it felt lol. The days where I had to lock my door, hope my little brother didn't have the sudden urge to come in the room, and masturbate in the closet while I jerked off vigorously with lotion as my TV was on full volume with Modern Warfare 2 in the backround. Heheheh.

Most of the blood in your body is rushing to your penis so that doesn't leave a lot of blood for your brain, causing the headache. It elevates your blood pressure because you stop breathing normally while you masturbate. Try taking deeper breaths and relax a little.

That used to happen to me all the time. I'm pretty sure the person above me is right, most likely the irregular breathing.

Unfortunately, the people above are actually wrong. There is no clear assocation between either breathing or blood pressure and these headaches. They are called post-coital cephalalgia (headache), and occur during sexual activity before orgasm. There is no clear way to treat them, though anti-migraine prophylactic drugs like propanolol are sometimes used.

I used to get these myself, when I was 13 or so. They started, and after a month and a bit of lots of pain - because even a horrible headache wasn't nearly enough to stop my extracurricular entertainment ;) - they went away. Can't explain it.

If it's so painful you can't bear it, I'd take a few days or a week off of masturbating, and if it continues go see your doctor.

The only reason you get an erection is because you heart pumps faster, producing more blood. The extra blood rushes to the penis. You don't loose blood anywhere.
Sorry, I don't know what would cause that.

What is it with people around here and giving fucking shitty advice? These headaches have nothing to do with how you breathe.

:/ the heart doesn't produce blood for one, and secondly your heart beats faster because of heightened activity. Masturbation is like exercise that only involves your arms and hands xD, If you had to produce more blood to get hard you would be waiting a while to get hard, your bone marrow produces blood

Secondly the reason you get an erection if because of physical or mental 'excitement' usually dirty thoughts images or being touched, sometimes just bumping it will cause it to get hard, sometimes its random you dont always get to control it..

if you have a larger penis, say...above 8 inches, that could be the reason why. because your penis requires more blood. OR you are putting too much into masterbating and you just need to slow down

Oh look, another 2 people giving advice that is completely wrong. These headaches, for the fucking millionth time, have nothing to do with the amount of blood in your penis, the amount of effort put into masturbating, the amount of water consumed or how you breathe.

For the love of God, stop giving advice about things you people don't know the fucking answers to.

maybe don't be so rude when trying to give advice. my intention is to help to the best of my knowledge. Using bad language is not required to get your point across.

The thread was old and answered. There was no need to bump it to give bad advice.
