Parents are divorced...

My parents got divorced when I was 7... I was never told the reason why and I really dont' want to know. The thing is I spend every other weekend at my dad's house and a month during the summer. Lately tho I've been real depressed when I leave... feel like crying. Like this weekend I'm here at daddy's and I have to go home tonight. I love both my mom and dad and I want to continue living with my mom (so I dont have to change schools) but it is just hard to leave my dads......no question really just felt like saying.

It sucks when families break up, but its good that you still love both of your parents and get to spend time with them both. Sounds like at least they're not fighting over you or making things difficult, so although you're sad at times it could be a lot worse.

I do feel for you, but there isn't really anything you can do about it at all, and its good that you get to see both of your parents, as some people may not be able to see both parents at all!

I don't exactly know how that feels, but looks on the bright side :D you have both parents and you love them and they love you, my mom and "dad"divorced when i was born and i never seen my dad.

yeah I know I'm luckier than some but I sometimes have the urge to just ask them why they can't get back together..it really really sucks sometimes....but I know better than to ask that...
