a girl thats i like

Ok my first post,

hello, i have been looking through the threads for one pertaining to my situation. I have found a few, but havn't helped much. I am extremely shy. I don't talk much. I like to put my feelings in stories. I had a friend at school, she's a girl, I like her a lot. We don't talk much except for the occasional hi, how are you, but at the dances we danced with each other every slow song. At my first dance she was the first girl i asked to dance. At the dances we always seemed to connect, we talked all through the song, but never outside of the dances. It's summer now and i won't see her until august. I don't know how to ask her out over the summer. I never see her. During school i found out she liked me, but I never asked her out. At the end of the year dance she told me the lets be friends thing because she liked one of my friends. He goes to her church, i go to a dif church. I got kinda mad, but my parents rose me up to be a gentleman, so i backed off. Is there anything i can do? I really like her.

i'm in kinda a similar situation :cool:, but it's harder for me. i have a "summer friend" that i sail with who i really like. she and i are like best friends. she seems to like my personallity but i'm not sure if shes attracted physically. i want to ask her out but i have no clue how to do it or if her reaction would be good or bad. if she wasnt one of my best friends it would be much easier bc i dont want to ruin our friendship.

But enough about me, is there anyway at all that u might see this girl over the summer? maybe you could get her screen name or number from a friend or something. dont be afraid to tell her u like her (i know easier said than done :D). if you tell her, the worst thing that happens is she doesnt feel for you the same way you feel for her. it doesnt seem like you're even good "friends" with her, so it's not like there's a chance of a friendship getting ruined. you have not much to lose and everything to gain by telling her. if you are too shy to tell her though, then just ask if she wants to hang out sometime. ask her if she wants to see a movie or get pizza or somthing.

I definetely agree with LI, just ask her to hang out sometime...

Another idea, since you said you like putting your feelings into stories, why not do just that? Write her a story that basically says how you feel.

Girls like guys that are creative, not only in story-writing, but in telling them that they like them, so use that to your advantage

give her some candy that she likes and tell her that she looks beautiful and nice comments like that and when you cetch her off gard like at school in a class room ask her out. and dont rush u might have to wait a couple of weeks of commenting then write a beautiful story and give it to her secretivly. itll drive her nuts
