i have a phobia of staying alone..

i mean, if someone is inside the house,i can stay home alone anywhere... just lets say, im alone in my room i share with my brother, but my mom is in the kitchen, and my door is closed, i can handle that.. you know
but, when i come home and rarely my mom isnt there, i just can not stay inside the house...

the kitchen has a door right next to it, i keep it open, i poop in the trashcan, and throw away the bag.. or i stay in my car until someone comes home then i rush in .. it all started when i was 7, and i was home alone to play rugrats on my computer, and i started hearing footsteps outside, but now that i remember it was just birds :P so i stayed in my room cause i was so scared, and the doorknob turned, then started opening RAPIDLY like.. not even humanly possible, i heard the noises of it opening and closing, and it was not windy.. it was a hot day..

then i always got scared to stay home alone, and i have to take extreme measures, and when i told my mom about the incident when i was 7, she just laughed.

so like 5 months ago, i watched paranormal activity, then i was on my computer like 3 days later, i thought i saw a evil spirit (dark liney thing) so i got scared and played halo 3 with my little brother, me and him heard 2 footsteps and no one was close.. no one was there. which started me getting extremely scared to be alone anytime, then the next time, my little brother heard gigling when he was alone and he told me, so i got scared of that too, then i heard it also.. now im just normal, and im not so scared anymore...

i know that was a lot, but im sick and tired of this phobia which i can not stop, do i need therapy or something? like omg... oh and when i was like 7, i was in my living room and i saw a evil spirit go in my chest... while trying to do homework..

where as my little brother can experience all this and not care whatsoever... help me!

Not gonna lie, therapy is your best option. It's likely you're imagining it. The mind is a powerful thing and convince us of almost anything, especially when fear comes into play.

Best of luck.

It sounds like cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) would be beneficial for you.

It depends on where you're from. Over here (Australia) you can go to a private psychologist and you get a certain number of free sessions a year - I'm pretty sure it is 12 sessions. You can also go to a youth centre or something of the sort and get a referral to the public service which is free. Your school counsellor may also be able to assist you with basic CBT, but if he/she can't, she should be able to direct you on how to go about it. I have been through both avenues, and although some say that the public system is no good, I see no difference between the two.

Personally, I initially became involved in the public system through hospital as I was/am very mentally ill. I see my case manager weekly, my psychologist fortnightly and psychiatrist monthly - all at no cost to me.

I don't know much about the system in other countries but I'm guessing in America you could be out of luck. Canada and the UK have a similar mental health system to here though.

As I said, go to your school counsellor or a youth centre. Failing that, talk to the head teacher of your grade and see what the process is for your country. Don't give up before you even start.

I have first time hear about the auto phobia. I want to know about its symptoms and its solution in deep. Also want to know about the exercise to reduce it immediately.

It is an abnormal and persistent fear of loneliness, I think that Common autophobia symptoms include a constant sense of impending danger whenever another trusted individual is not within easy reach. Autophobia also has another sense, that of an irrational fear of oneself, intense self-fear that is groundless.
