Which side are you on? i. we offered 94% OF our land to palestine but refused. tell me what you think! But before you begin to comment, I personaly believe that we should share the land and hold hands instead of fight. Build Bridges NOT Walls

Personally, I'm pro-sharing. The land in question is ceremoniously important to both sides, and I see no reason why there can't be compromise. We need to send those leaders back to kindergarten to learn to give and take, and shaaaare.

I think it's stupid to choose sides in a war. It's not about who's right when people on both sides are dying it's more about how can we end this peacefully without any more blood shed.

World War 2.
There's a difference between what's going on in Jerusalem and what happened in World War 2. One was a man trying to take over the world the other is two people fighting over their own land.

Choose words more carefully. Absolute statements tend to come back in a debate to bite you in the ass.

I didn't say it was right to choose sides in world war 2 I only said there were differences. Still though the way World War 2 was handled was completely stupid.

As was all war. Thomas, it is inevitable that we will fight, it is inevitable that we will end up choosing sides. No matter what, war will make us choose sides. I'm sure you don't support the Iraq war, so you would choose the side of peace. I choose the side of peace as well.
World War 2 was like any other wars, just more large scale. There were countries that fought for land, and power, and countries that fought for peace, and prosperity. There's that word peace again. There will always be the side of peace and someone fighting their own war for it. Take England and France for example. They could have prevented World War 2 if they had taken action earlier, but they could have ignited the flame and let all hell break lose earlier then that. If Hitler would have died any sooner he had Himmler to take his place. Just as insane, just as blood thirsty. They handled it right, except for when they gave Hitler Czechoslovakia in 1938. That made him hungry for more, and like human nature he tried to take it leading into World War 2. The League of Nations wasn't powerful back then, so they couldn't do much because the only powers in it were France and England. They tried to Appease him when he knew he was seeking total war.

why does vt seem to always relate to my RE lessons
Isreal supposedly has nuclear weapons
which means Palestine cant really do much
and Isreal has a huge army
so chances are Isreal will win
On how though is debatable..
it was originally isreals land
then they were kicked off by the roamans
then the arabian palastinians got control
and the jewish isrealies flocked back in search of a homeland to be safe in after WW2
its both of their land really so it should actually have proper borders enplaced.. which is pretty much what the fights for
and the main thing is Jerusalem
i dont want either to win
because its an odd argument of they stole it and we want it back
so hmm

both sides act like 3 year olds, so really none of them deserve it. But if i had to choose, it would be palestine

well, i am not really savvy in the israeli/palestine situation, but i think they need to share and palestine needs to cool it with their extremist religious practices

The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference.-Elie Wiesel, holocaust survivor. just saying.
both israel and palestine have made massive screw ups in this war. israel needs to stop torturing people and invading gaza for no reason. palestine needs to stop inciting the anger of israel. i am personally jewish and have A LOT more sympathy for palestine than i do for israel. i've seen gaza and the west bank. they aren't pretty places. israel is at fault for that. they are also at fault for crimes against humanity and general stupidity. it's amazing how similar islam and judaism is. the only real difference is that muslims believe muhammad was a prophet. unfortunately now it seems they can't live together under one god. i hope that eventually both sides will recognize each other and they will live in peace again. for now, i side with the palestinian civilians who have suffered rape, displacement, etc in the name of their god.

how you can say israel is torturing people and invading gaza for no reason is a lot of bullshit. you want to get your facts right. i have seen gaza and the west bank . they are not pretty places i agree. israel has offered the palestinians the olive branch since 1948. do the palestinians accept it. no.
israel does not rape palestinians.
palestinians send suicide bombers inside israel. they blow up schools, buses, bus stations and cafes. what is israel supposed to do. sit back and take it.
they are defending their citizens. have you seen a suicide bombing? i have.
it's not a pretty sight.
palestinian children are taught to hate israelis from the day they are born.
