Does the Shoutbox and posting in the diaries raise post count?

In the shoutbox> No these ones dont :D

Well the shoutbox is pruned every so often (shouts deleted), so yeah, no. Or else we'd have post counts dropping by hundreds randomly.


diares yes and no. A few have post count turned off (the only one off the top of my head is Singing In The Rain, but i think there's a few more) but most of them it counts for posts

Is there a particular reason that some diaries have the post count turned off, I'm guessing it's because the topics are spam related.

Yea, it's spam. It would be like having the Arcade add to post count

I don't think any of the diaries take away from post count now but the rules is that diaries are only allowed 2-3 spam/games in them and if there's more than that it's moved to another section where post don't count.
