How do you change the name of your flashdrive?

Windows I think right click and rename it?

Mac, just click on it to highlight it, then click the name a wait a few seconds. Then change.

I tried that. Then it just says "removable disk Drive F".

Doesn't it have to be totally empty for you to change it? Try formatting it, if you can.

It kept telling me to format it. Bu, it's not worth having to save ALL my stuff back on it to change the name......

Instead of double clicking it, click once then press F2 and see if it will rename that way!

If not I would suggest to reformat it.

you have to go into information/properties and then you should be able to change it if not find someone closer to you to help. like at school or the library.

I changed it. It just don't show up on Windows Vista, or Windows 7 on my computers at home.

At school, with Windows XP, it shows up....

I don't know.
