I'm a windows user, but due to my software disc being corrupted I have to use my mother's Mac to upload photos. Now she's shown me how to do it, but how do I get IPhoto to show up on the screen? (shush about my windowsness)

Ummm....if you mean how do you get it to start then on the sides of the screen there should be a dock. It should have most of the important applications in it. If you don't see it move the mouse to the edges of the screen and it should pop out. If it's not there go to finder (in the dock) and click on applications on the left. Look for iPhoto.

You can always PM me for help too.

there should be a bar either on the side or bottom of you screen and iPhoto should be there if not click on the BG and hit apple+N and then go to applications then iPhoto then select open. It should come up.

apple+N.

For the apple newbie the apple button is also known as command. **Next to the space bar**

If you saying I'm the newbie your mistaken. its easier to teach someone with things they can find by themselves saying "the command key" to a PC user about a mac wont get them anywhere you tell them look for the logo key (hp, dell, gateway whatever system they might have) and this is how it works they'l probably be able to figure it out especially since on a Microsoft computer like HP the command key only brings up the main menu and doesnt actually bring up with she is looking for. Apple+N Is new page for anything including internet, word, excel, iphoto, itunes, etc without having to go through any menus. On a Microsoft system you have to click control+alt+command (what letter symbolizes the action you would like the system to preform).

sorry about the rant. when you get into electronics and systems and wires I get kinda idk intrigued

We see Jeff. Why do they even use that ''squiggle'' anyway?
