Try to not dress casually when meeting people interested in models, because if you wear something different they would take more interest, as they usually don't have models for casual clothing.

I'd like to model. I dont think im pretty enough. Or thin enough. Models are like 00 jeans. D: Anyways, I'd say stay fit and wear clothes and make up that define your positives. (:

lol not odd, getting into photography after modeling is a brilliant idea! models have a very short career most of the time due to aging so getting into photography is the perfect next step because u have been in the shoes of the subject you are now taking pictures of...it gives u soooo much more incite and generally you produce stunning photos
i model occasionally atm, umm most well known companies/designers i've worked with are...D&G, diesel, and jeremy scott, i've done some work for lesser known designers tho as well
advice to u for getting into modeling is don't wait until after highschool, start networking now, the sooner u can get into the business the more likely it is that u will be successful
also don't think that u have to be a 200 pound muscle god to be a male model, while it is a bit harder to be a male model with a thinner body type there is still alot of work available
u don't even have to be generically "pretty" there are alto of designers who will take less "conventional" beauty to create edgy looks
the most important thing is that your body is PROPORTIONATE!!!
and don't be afraid to take jobs or shoots with amateur designers or photographers...the more experien

I've done some stuff for my own satisfaction. But never anything official, though I have been asked.
Fashion is one of my passions, but I've recently put that dream behind me. I've seen your pictures, and personally, I think you'd do great.
Good luck.

Thx lawrenence I really appreciate that. Well according to my friends I dress like a model..idk I just think I dress well. The thing about doing it while in highschool is that I know two people who have become models and they have moved away and do home schooling. I'm really focused in school and already have a lot of things I'm doing at school so I don't want to throw that away just yet. I don't think that I'll look that different within a year though, so I guess it would be fine if I waited. But thanks everyone for the advice it's very helpful.

Ehhh, I don't think I'm model material.
I don't think I'm ugly, but I don't think I'm attractive enough.
Also, I'm more into the music industry at the moment.

about 4 years ago i modeled for a small store in New York, my neighbor would take me to diffferent place, she was the photographer, and we'd dress up in their merchandise, and pose. she then sent the pics and mae brochures and put them up in the store. it was fun at first, but after the pics were done, we sold clothes and worked long hours, and the older ladies would get drunk, and act crazy... and they would dricve me home... so mom wwas like ok... no more! so i quit. i got paid in clothing. and you must have a fit body. to the people you work for you'll always have to change... u'll neve r be good enough to htme.. or urself... u'll compare urself to tother.s it does cauase eating disorders someimtes. like i'm anoerecxi now, idk becauser of that... but yea... just becareful..
